Find and prepare for care
Who would make the medicine?
If a product is proposed, ask who would make it and who would send it. Keep those names separate from the website’s name.
Get a name you can check
The FDA, the US medicine agency, notes that people seeking made-to-order drugs online may not know which business actually made the drug.a
Ask for the pharmacy’s full name before making a commitment. There is room to ask again if the answer is only a service name.
Use the pharmacy’s own board record
Pharmacies have separate licence records held by state boards of pharmacy.b
The FDA’s pharmacy page links to each state’s licence search. Its advice is to avoid a pharmacy whose name does not appear in that state’s records.b
Ask about delivery across states
Most states required a local licence or permit before a pharmacy from another state could ship medicine to patients there, as of September 26, 2026.c
Ask which record covers the state where the medicine would be sent.
A licence does not settle the product question
A pharmacy’s entry in the state records shows that it holds a licence. The licence alone does not establish that the pharmacy supplies medicine properly.b
After checking the licence, ask which ingredient rule the pharmacy says permits it to make the proposed Selank product. Ask the state pharmacy board to explain any answer you cannot follow.
